We’re thrilled to announce a special experience for our Mosto community – our first-ever wine road trip to the beautiful Alentejo region hosted by me, Sofia 😊

This two-day journey will offer a unique opportunity to explore one of Portugal’s most renowned wine-producing regions, where ancient traditions are still alive today.

Over two days, we will discover the heart and soul of Alentejo, including Vidigueira and the tiny village of Vila de Frades – the capital of amphora winemaking where Romans first produced amphora wines over 2000 years ago.
The highlight of this trip coincides with the 11th of November, São Martinho’s Day, a day celebrated across Portugal for the opening of the Talhas (Amphoras). São Martinho’s Day marks the first tasting of the new wine and celebrates the end of the harvest season. You’ll see this time-honored event, symbolizing both the history and the future of winemaking.

Here’s a glimpse of what awaits
